Teacher presentation: the teacher modeled how to outline an essay with a few bullet points under each potential topic.
Classroom management: the teacher timed each piece of the activity so that he hit everything

student participation: students followed this example and added a few bullets under each of their essay topics
Feedback: feedback was provided to students when the teacher went around and checked to make sure each student was understanding and helped them when needed
Lessons learned: check to ask if the students needs more information about the activity before proceeding
